Objective Advice That Reduces Liability & Improves Performance
"I don't wear 10 different hats in my services. Company retirement plans are the only thing that I do and it is my specialty."
ERISA services for your retirement plan ensures decision makers can make the right changes with confidence to avoid fiduciary breaches. I do not only detect problems in your plan, I provide solutions. Wondering what service you need? Read below for an in-depth answer.
ERISA 3(21) Investment Advisor Services
As a 3(21) Investment Advisor I work with you to recommend the investment lineup for your plan, but I do not have discretion over plan investment decisions. If you prefer to maintain discretion and control of your plan’s investments, you may choose to hire a 3(21) Investment Advisor to select investment funds to make available to your employees. It’s up to you to approve the fund lineup as well as any recommended changes over time.
ERISA 3(38) Investment Manager Services
If your goal is to minimize your fiduciary liability to the fullest extent, you should consider my 3(38) services. This mean you would delegate to me full authority, discretion and control to manage the fund lineup. I will acknowledge their fiduciary status in writing. By delegating the job of managing the investment lineup to me, your liability is limited to prudently selecting and monitoring the 3(38) Investment Manager and benchmarking the reasonableness of their fees.
Plan Fiduciary Advisor Services
Having the CPFA credential demonstrates my knowledge required to act as a plan fiduciary or help plan fiduciaries manage their roles and responsibilities. These include:
ERISA Fiduciary Roles and Responsibilities: assisting and collaborating with plan fiduciaries about proper practices and prudent decision making.
ERISA Fiduciary Oversight: Overlooking all fiduciaries and decisions made on the plan.
ERISA Plan Investment Management: Managing plan's investment menu with full discretion.
ERISA Plan Management: Ensuring plans decisions are properly executed to meet ERISA guidelines.
